Pricing - Pricing Schedules

Pricing Schedules make it possible to assign different sets of pricing at the project level.

You always start out with one pricing schedule, called Default. New pricing schedules are always created by copying existing pricing schedules.
Once you've created a new pricing schedule, you can then change pricing for your media and assign billing codes to your new pricing schedule. You can switch between pricing schedules by clicking on them in the center pane of the Pricing tab.

To Create a Pricing Schedule:

  1. Switch to the Pricing tab in Argos Manager.
  2. Click the + icon in the top right of the Pricing Schedules pane and select Add Pricing Schedule
  3. Provide a name for your new pricing schedule.
  4. In your new pricing schedule, make desired pricing and tax changes.
  5. Switch to the Projects tab.
  6. Find a project that should use the new pricing schedule and double-click on it.
  7. Switch to the More Options tab.
  8. In the pricing schedule dropdown list, choose the name of your new pricing schedule.
  9. Click OK to save. Because Argos must recalculate pricing for all activity on the selected project, it may take a moment for the dialog to close.

To Delete a Pricing Schedule:

  1. Switch to the Pricing tab in Argos Manager.
  2. Right-click on the pricing schedule you wish to remove and click delete.
  3. Confirm that you wish to delete the pricing schedule.
  4. If any projects reference the pricing schedule you wish to delete, a dialog will display a list of the referencing projects. In the Replace with schedule dropdown list you can specify a new pricing schedule to replace the one you're deleting. Note that any activity billed to the displayed projects will also be updated to the replacement pricing schedule.

Pricing schedule Notes:

  • The basis that you choose for a media (e.g. square feet, per page, etc.) is the same across all pricing schedules. If you change the basis in one pricing schedule, it will change for all pricing schedules.
  • The same media types are present in all pricing schedules.
