The General tab contains basic contact information for your site and settings that determine how reporting is handled.

Preferred Units

By default, Argos reports using imperial measurements (inches). However, metric reporting is supported as well.

Default User Domain

In most cases, this setting should be left alone. Argos supports environments with single domains, multiple domains and workgroups. However, in a situation where your Argos server is in a workgroup but the rest of your office is in a domain, you should define that domain in Argos.

Billing Period

Defining a Billing Period can simplify your reporting process. For example, if your billing period starts on the 25th of each month instead of the 1st, you can define it here, and then use the predefined "Billing Period" date options in the Reports and Activity filters, rather than manually changing the dates each month.
