KIP tracking stops after upgrading KIP controller versions

Problem:

After upgrading WinUntd.exe on a KIP 3000, 5000 or other IPS series controller, Argos OnBoard for KIP stops tracking copy and KIP Request jobs.

A recent release of the KIP software includes KIP Unattend version 7.1.0.44. After the upgrade of KIP Unattend, the internal KIP accounting log files show 0 square feet for every job. Argos does not import these records because they report 0 square feet.

Resolution:

Contact your KIP dealer for an updated version of KIP Unattend. Version 7.1.0.231 or higher resolves this issue.

Here is an example of a KIP log file with records from KIP Unattend 7.1.0.44 and 7.1.0.231. After the upgrade to 7.1.0.231, all new records show valid square feet.
