Enabling USB MEAP Driver on Canon Devices for use with Prox Cards

To use a Proximity Card Reader with a Canon ImageRunner MFP, the USB MEAP Driver must be enabled

  1. Go to http://YOUR_CANON_IP_ADDRESS:8000/ in your web browser.
  2. Enter the PIN of a Sepialine administrator if prompted.
  3. Click on Add. Func. on the left side.
  4. Click on Custom Settings.
  5. Click on USB Settings.
  6. Check the Use USB Device, Use USB Host, and Use MEAP Driver for USB Device check boxes.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Restart the device.
